With nearly a decade of senior and studio lead experience as a distinguished award-winning landscape designer at premier design-build firms in Collingwood, Oakville, Burlington, and surrounding areas in Ontario, Amanda leans on her educational background in Architectural Technology to bring a wealth of expertise to residential landscape design. Specializing in crafting luxurious environments for high-end clientele, Amanda’s passion, creativity, and commitment to pushing the envelope define her approach. Amanda possesses in-depth knowledge of local materials, construction practices, bylaws & and an extensive plant palette, gained through close collaboration with the construction crews building her designs and working with some of the best in the industry.
Amanda’s design philosophy is completely client-oriented and revolves around ‘form follows function’, ensuring each project not only looks exquisite but also serves its purpose seamlessly. She takes pride in curating spaces that are beautiful bespoke designs that also prioritize the people who will live within them. Beyond her design pursuits, Amanda also contributes to her professional community and academic realm through her roles as a design professor and serving on various boards. She serves as an active member of Landscape Ontario’s Designer Board and as chair of Conestoga College’s Professional Advisory Committee for Drafting and Design programs.
